The BMC Air Filter FB479/20 is a precision drop-in panel filter for popular BMW diesel applications across the E8x 1 Series, E9x 3 Series, and E84 X1. Using BMC’s Full-Moulding red rubber frame and multi-layer oiled cotton gauze backed by epoxy-coated mesh, it increases intake efficiency while filtering down to ~7 µm (tighter than typical OEM paper ~10 µm). Installs directly in the factory airbox—no cutting or tuning required.
